GrumpyBerry — Content & Copyright Policy

By submitting content to GrumpyBerry, you confirm that you understand and agree to the rules below.

1) AI disclosure (required)

GrumpyBerry is not an “AI-only” platform. You may publish AI-assisted or traditional work.

For transparency to viewers, you must clearly disclose whether AI tools were used in a submission (and where relevant: visuals, voices, music, script, editing). Disclosure is required for publishing, but AI use itself is not a reason for rejection.

2) Rights & licensed materials (zero tolerance)

You may only submit content if you have the legal right to use and publish every element included, such as footage, images, music, vocals, sound effects, dialogue, fonts, templates, stock assets, and any third-party materials.

No copyrighted material may be used without permission or a valid license. This includes content found online or on social media that is not explicitly licensed for your intended use.

3) Verification on request

GrumpyBerry may request documentation to verify rights and licenses at any time (e.g., receipts, invoices, written permissions, releases, contracts, or other proof of ownership).

Failure to provide verification when requested may result in rejection, removal, or account action.

4) Real people & likeness rights

Using a real person’s identity, likeness, or voice without explicit permission is strictly prohibited. This includes face swaps, voice cloning, impersonation, deepfakes, or AI-generated depictions that clearly resemble a real person.

5) Public figures & celebrities

Actors, singers, influencers, politicians, and other public figures may not appear in submissions without permission. Unauthorized use includes AI-generated images, model references (e.g., LoRA) trained to reproduce a specific person, or voice likeness imitation.

6) Adult & sensitive content

18+ content may be allowed only with clear warnings and appropriate labeling.

• Pornographic content is not allowed.
• Any sexual content involving minors or young-looking persons is strictly prohibited (zero tolerance).
• Non-consensual sexual content, sexual exploitation, or content promoting sexual violence is prohibited.

Repeated attempts to submit prohibited adult content may result in removal and account termination.

7) Safety & illegal content

Submissions must not include or promote illegal activities, harassment, hate content, threats, or content intended to facilitate harm.

8) Curation & technical quality

GrumpyBerry does not judge whether a film is “good” or “bad” creatively. However, published content must meet a baseline level of technical quality and clarity.

• Acceptable image and audio quality.
• Coherent intent appropriate to the chosen category.
• No obvious unresolved AI artifacts when AI is used (e.g., severe facial/hand glitches, unstable identity, broken motion).
• Accurate categorization and honest metadata.

9) Non-exclusive publishing & future monetization

You may publish your work on other platforms. However, content that is available elsewhere may be ineligible for future monetization features on GrumpyBerry (when introduced). If a third party uploads your work without permission, this restriction does not apply (with proof).

10) Enforcement

GrumpyBerry may remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts for policy violations, inability to verify rights, or attempts to bypass moderation and labeling requirements. This policy may be updated over time.
